In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that support our platform's core functionalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server design and programming, with the ability to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, software engineers, and product managers, to translate business requirements into scalable database solutions. This position offers flexibility in work location, allowing for either a local presence in Reston, VA, or remote work, depending on the candidate’s preference and qualifications.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should possess a blend of educational background, technical expertise, and professional experience. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, software engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should demonstrate expert knowledge of SQL and database concepts, including experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization. Familiarity with data modeling, database design principles, and performance tuning is essential. Experience with Entity Framework, .NET, C#, and Visual Studio within a Windows environment is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments are critical.
