JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective: Working safely in a fast-moving environment in various warehouse functions. These may include receiving and processing freight, managing and moving inventory, loading, unloading, shipping and receiving. Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained while maintaining minimal overhead.
Expected Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm with some overtime as needed
Required Qualifications/Experience
· Must pass drug and background screens
· Works effectively with minimal direction and demonstrates strong initiative
· Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier
· Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
· 3 years warehouse experience, preferably in a similar trade
· Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical parts.
· Inventory management experience
· Ability to lift 100 pounds unassisted
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
· Warehouse management experience
· Forklift certified
Essential Duties
Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory, delivery support, and facility maintenance.
Assist in developing and implementing operations control improvements in support of company goals by leading continuous improvement projects and by analyzing process workflow, staffing, and space requirements.
Support and implement, company safety policies and procedures in the facility.
Fleet management responsibility- ensuring that trucks are properly maintained, registered, licensed, tested and, to the extent appropriate, operated in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Responsible for the coordination of building maintenance and upkeep, ensuring preventative maintenance and repairs are completed on time and within budget.
Provides regular coaching, guidance, motivation, and performance reviews, including hiring employees, to maintain and enhance competency levels within the department.
Accurately count and locate product
Process all Warranty returns with manufacturers/suppliers. Communicate with Stack A/P and ensure proper credits have been received.
Stock and consolidate tools and materials
Verify inventory to PO's and manifests
Inspect and process returns
Maintain accurate sign in and sign out procedures for tools and other warehouse items
Prepare all appropriate shipping documentation.
Check and put away stock orders.
Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion.
· Oversee physical space in warehouse including cleanliness and organization.
· Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve any issues or returns
· Supervises safety programs and training for warehouse personnel and ensures compliance with safety rules and standards.
· Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
· Reclaim Refrigerant daily to keep area clean.
· Make sure scrap area is kept up with.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Work Environment: Warehouse environment consists of extreme temperatures of heat and cold.
Physical Demands: Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, squatting, holding, carrying objects and lifting – including heavy objects such as equipment up to 250 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders including extension ladders. Must be able to see, read, hear, and speak. Use of fingers and hands.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
