The General Manager oversees all Front of House operations while working very closely with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine. S/he must play an active role, alongside the management team, in constantly refining and defining our service. S/he will be responsible for hiring, managing and training FOH management and staff.Responsibilities include:Continual improvement of all FOH operationsCoordinating all hiring, training, and staffing for all FOH positionsTraining and enforcing Momofuku protocols and standardsWorking closely with chefs; act as liaison to accomplish BOH's pursuit of serving delicious foodEnsuring that guests enjoy the Momofuku experienceManage administrative task (FOH inventory, payroll, scheduling, etc.)Enforcing standards of service and assisting all managers in building a strong service teamDetermining and managing pars on any service related item (including but not limited to all table pre-sets, dining room mise en place, coat check items, etc.)Developing and nurturing relationships with our business partnersMonitoring all FOH operating costs, identifying issues, and strategizing improvements Skills & Requirements3+ years of AGM/Senior floor level Management experience requiredStrong food and beverage knowledge requiredExceptional service and floor skills requiredHigh volume, fast-paced restaurant experience preferredFamiliarity of the New York restaurant industry preferredHigh profile (two- or three-star reviewed) restaurant experience is a plusExperience with bar management or special and private dining events is a plusWhat's In It For You?
