Apply via Dice today!RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Curriculum Developer in San Francisco, CA.Essential Functions: Technical Curriculum Developer will design and develop innovative learning solutions, applying adult learning and instructional design principles to create content that fits the needs of the learner; The content will primarily be for self-paced online learning, although you may also be asked to build instructor-led training materials Become an expert on products so that you can confidently update existing training and build new training across the product suite Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the needs of our partners, customers, and employees Design and develop aesthetically superb diagrams and content meeting the highest standards of quality and adhering to Stripe branding guidelines Develop supplemental and supporting courseware and documentation, including workshops, hands on labs, and webinars Research information across multiple surfaces, including internal collateral, official documentation, and team-created materials As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will determine learner needs and build learning plans and training content to address those needs Write and edit content in Articulate Rise Create graphics with Google Slides, Adobe Photoshop, or other tools Help improve training across three CSAT axes: content quality, relevance to learners, and learners' confidence in applying what they've learnedREQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience in curriculum design and development 2+ years of experience creating assessments to measure learner competencies Experience designing and developing content for technical certifications Experience working in payments, enterprise SaaS, or with software implementation partners Experience working with REST APIs Technical writing experience Experience writing in depth technical training You have strong technical skills, either from your educational background, work experience, or personal initiative You are comfortable using the tools in our toolset: Articulate Rise, Skilljar LMS, Google Slides, Google Docs, Slack, and Zoom, using macOS You have publicly available training samples or can provide writing and/or video samples upon request You are able to transform dry topics into engaging, informative, and interesting educational materials You enjoy self-driven exploration and education on new technologies; You are excited about the idea of learning something yourself in order to build training to help others learn it faster You are comfortable working in a poorly defined space and doing your own learning needs analysis You have experience training adults, know the principles of adult learning theory, and can incorporate them into our curriculum You have strong verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts to help write, design, develop, and manage technical content projects You care about craft and beauty, you obsess over details that others may ignore, and you aspire to build training that learners find surprisingly greatThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
