(APT) is looking to add a Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for pulling materials for shipment, receiving inventory, managing inventory and building pallets/shipping supports. What You'll DoPull materials to fulfill orders including components, fittings, pipe, tube, and barInventory returned materials from jobsKeep track of inventory in assigned areas and participate in cycle countingBuild pallets and shipping supports per job requirementManage shipping material inventoryClean area at the end of every shift and maintain a safe work areaOrganize incoming materials by project and maintain records of project locationPerform all duties following APT safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to managerOther duties as assigned Qualifications Required:2 years of shipping & receiving experienceAbility to safely operate a forklift and complete training as requiredClean driving recordAbility to use hand and power toolsStrong ability to multi-task, maintain attention to detail and organizationDemonstrated strong communication skillsAbility to work under limited supervisionAbility to lift 75 pounds as neededRight to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Preferred:Experience with stainless steel materials including fittings, sheets, pipe, tube, and barExperience in food processing industryTelehandler operation experienceConstruction background Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position.
