Follows all cooking assignments maintaining a sanitary and safe working area at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follows sanitation guidelinesFollows recipes and preparation instructionsAccurately and efficiently uses cooking equipmentKnowledgeable of basic dietProperly portions all food and ingredients per department standardsPrepares food to accurate consistency per diet requirementsPreps food items for current use and next dayFollows production sheets and records all related HACCP documentationPromotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habitsProvides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of ConductRequired Qualifications :Education and Training :High School Graduate or equivalent preferredSanitation Certificate requiredWork Shift Details:Various, Registry/PRN Filling in as needed based on department's needs.Department:NUTRITION SERVICES
