If you're the kind of person who pitches in where needed, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and wants to have fun while making a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Campus Giving Coordinator to support our Valor San Antonio community in building a strong culture of philanthropy and community engagement. This is an ideal role for a parent or someone deeply connected to the school community who has experience in fundraising, events, sales, or nonprofit relationship management.This position is full-time, primarily on-campus (at least 80% in-person), and year-round with some flexibility for remote/flex work. It will require occasional evening and weekend hours, especially during events or campaign pushes.What You'll DoFundraising & Donor EngagementManage the annual Invest in the Vision Campaign ("IVC") by stewarding and soliciting gifts from current familiesAssist in the execution of capital campaigns on your campus, as neededBuild authentic relationships with families, grandparents, and donors in the school communityDraft and send thank you notes, donor updates, and other handwritten or email communicationsUtilize telephone and text communications to schedule in person meetings, and for donor stewardship and cultivation purposesTrack and record gifts and interactions using DonorPerfect and other platformsGenerate reports on fundraising and goal progress and for purposes of meeting the goals of the positionMaintain a portfolio of major donors and prospects, ensuring regular, personalized engagement and stewardship to strengthen relationships and encourage first-time or continued supportEvents & Community EngagementFacilitate in-person solicitations for support using materials and methodologies providedPlan and execute key events such as Grandparents Day and New Family OrientationServe as the emcee or host of events which may include public speaking and making an appeal for support to a groupCollaborate closely with campus and network staff to ensure smooth and mission-aligned executionCollaboration & ExecutionFollow established fundraising strategies, scripts, timelines, and messaging provided by the Valor networkParticipate in regular training and coaching sessionsBe accountable for campus fundraising results and participation goalsServe as a visible and friendly presence on campus, helping support a culture of giving, celebration, and connectionWhat You'll BringRequired Experience & SkillsFormal fundraising experience is strongly preferred, but not required-we welcome candidates with transferable skills from event planning, sales, nonprofit work, relationship management, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel); comfort learning CRM platforms like DonorPerfectBasic familiarity with Canva is a plusValor considers the unique combination of each candidate's education and relevant experience when evaluating the qualifications for the role.You're the Right Fit If You Are...Personable and skilled at building and developing relationships and making connections that grow the communityOrganized with strong follow-through and attention to detailMission-driven and passionate about promoting Valor's vision of education and valuesProactive and willing to take initiativeFlexible and able to navigate changing needs, multiple important and urgent priorities, and busy event seasonsPositive and approach challenges with an abundance mindsetCollaborative and eager to be part of a joyful, dynamic teamCompensation & BenefitsHourly rate starting at $22+, commensurate with experienceParticipation in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), a defined benefit pension plan through the State of Texas.Generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; employer-paid long-term disability and basic life insurance; and disability, accident, and pet insurance.To ApplyApply on our application.
