Epicor Business Analyst - Operations

This role supports the ongoing improvement, adoption, and operational use of Epicor ERP across the business. The position works closely with operational teams and senior ERP leadership to help enhance business processes, reporting capabilities, and system functionality. This role requires a blend of operational ERP knowledge and technical capability.The ideal candidate understands how Epicor supports manufacturing and supply chain operations while also being comfortable creating reports, dashboards, and light customizations within the Epicor platform. A key initiative for this role will be assisting with the continued rollout and adoption of the Epicor Kinetic Web UI, helping guide users through the transition while supporting enhancements using Application Studio.Support day-to-day Epicor ERP functionality across manufacturing and operational teamsAssist business users with Epicor workflows, troubleshooting, and system usageSupport operational modules including: Production Management, Inventory Management, Financial Management, Supply Chain and Purchasing, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), Epicor Kinetic Warehouse (EKW)Work with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve system usage and process efficiencyAssist with the continued uplift and rollout of the Epicor Kinetic Web UISupport business users as they transition from classic screens to the Kinetic interfaceDevelop and maintain Application Studio customizations to improve user experience and workflowsHelp identify opportunities to modernize existing processes using Kinetic capabilitiesReporting & Data VisibilityDevelop and maintain BAQs, dashboards, and data views to support operational reportingCreate and maintain SSRS reports used by operational and finance teamsAssist departments in improving visibility into operational metrics and performance dataProcess Improvement & System EnhancementsWork with internal stakeholders to understand operational workflows and system requirementsDocument business processes and system configurationsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of Epicor functionalitySupport evaluation and implementation of new Epicor features and enhancementsIntegration & Technical SupportUtilize Epicor REST APIs to support integrations, automation, and data access when neededAssist with troubleshooting integration or data issues between Epicor and other systemsCollaborate with senior technical staff when deeper development work is requiredProject & Implementation SupportParticipate in ERP-related initiatives including system improvements, module enhancements, and integrationsAssist with system configuration, testing, and user acceptance testingSupport documentation and training efforts for new processes or system featuresRequirements Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience3–5+ years experience working with Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 / Kinetic preferred)Experience supporting ERP systems within manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of ERP-driven operational processes including:Production, Inventory control, Supply chain, shop floor operationsExperience developing BAQs, dashboards, and operational reportingExperience working with SSRS reportingExperience customizing Epicor using Kinetic Application StudioExperience working with Epicor REST APIsAbility to translate operational requirements into system configurations and reporting solutionsAbility to travel up to 25%Technical Skills Epicor ERP Operational Modules (Production, Inventory, Supply Chain, MES, EKW)BAQs, UBAQs, and Epicor dashboardsSSRS ReportingEpicor Application StudioEpicor REST APIsAI ToolsMicrosoft Office / ExcelBasic SQL knowledge preferred
