Thread Roll Operator - 5 years experience required

*Overview* 30 year old GROWING & PRIVATELY OWNED Fastener Distributor/Manufacturer seeking a reliable, highly skilled and motivated Thread Roll Operator with at least five years of hands-on experience. In this role, you will operate Hartford and Waterbury thread rolling machinery to produce high-quality socket head cap screws. *Duties* * *Independently set up, *adjust and operate thread rolling machines to produce precise threaded parts according to technical specifications and blueprints * Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to ensure accurate machine setup and operation * Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on thread rolling equipment to maintain optimal performance * Use precision measurement instruments; tri-rolls, ring gages, comparators, etc. to inspect components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance throughout the production run and document results. * Ability to collaboratively work with other team members to meet daily production, quality and safety goals. * Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of machine operation and material handling * Maintain detailed records of production output, quality inspections, and equipment maintenance activities *Requirements* * Minimum of five years’ experience operating thread rolling machines within a manufacturing environment * Socket Head Cap Screw experience a plus * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately * Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as tri-roll gages, ring gages, calipers, micrometers, etc for quality control purposes * Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper machine operation and safety protocol adherence * Ability to perform shop math and basic calculations necessary for machining operations and measurement verification * Mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail for precision measurement and quality inspection * Positive CAN DO Attitude * Ability to work overtime on occasion Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
