You'll manage a portfolio of donors, guide them through the giving journey, and help shape the future of True Friends through endowment, capital, and legacy giving.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed for events and donor engagementWork Environment: Hybrid role with a mix of remote work, office time, and in-person donor meetings/eventsLocation: Works across all True Friends sites and various community, donor, and event locations throughout MinnesotaPay: $72,332 - $78,447 annuallyWhat You'll DoBuild and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospectsIdentify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts (with a strong focus on planned giving)Dedicate ~75% of time to planned/deferred giving strategiesSupport and advance a multi-year foundation campaignPartner with attorneys, financial planners, and estate professionalsPlan and participate in donor meetings, events, and stewardship activitiesCollaborate with the Development team on fundraising strategiesMaintain accurate donor records and uphold confidentialityWhat You'll Bring4-6 years of development experience, including individual fundraisingExperience with planned and/or major givingStrong relationship-building and communication skillsAbility to engage and influence high-net-worth individualsKnowledge of planned giving strategies and donor lifecycleBachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM a plusWhy You'll Love ItMeaningful, mission-driven workOpportunity to build long-term donor relationshipsLeadership and growth in a strategic fundraising roleCollaborative and supportive team environmentFlexible work setting with community engagementWork Environment & Physical RequirementsRole includes office work, donor visits, and community eventsRegular travel throughout Minnesota is requiredAbility to move between locations and engage in in-person meetingsAbility to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writingAbility to occasionally lift or carry materials up to 30 lbs
