Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,136 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (4 shifts) or 8 hours (5 shifts) Experience: Less than 1 year with direct patient care, must have intraoperative or OR circulating experience License: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State or Multi-State Compact) Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Must-Have: Must have intraoperative experience or OR circulating experience. Description: The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. The team consists of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure patients and families receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. The nurse practices in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and supported through shared governance. The framework for practice is guided by a professional practice model and evidence-based practice. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by core competencies. All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold nursing practice as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act. They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards as put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, the individual is expected to uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence goals. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions include: Performing the nursing process in clinical care using evidence-based practice. Providing relationship-based patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics. Partnering with patients and significant others, focusing on their goals in the care plan. Practicing using current clinical practice standards. The nurse coordinates the delivery of safe quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication methods. They complete timely documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. The RN demonstrates teamwork and collaborates in a fiscally responsible manner. Participation in performance improvement and support for shared governance at all levels is essential. Professional development includes completing initial and ongoing competency assessments and serving as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses. Promoting evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement is essential. The RN participates in data collection and uses resources to address practice questions. The nurse proactively plans for patient care across the continuum and supports the efficient use of resources. Participation in the development of protocols and procedures is encouraged. The RN complies with all organizational policies, standards, and clinical competencies. They perform other duties as assigned.
