Summary: The Parcel Packer provides support to the warehouse operations by adhering to the processes and procedures that drive the support our distribution environment. In general, the Parcel Packer is responsible for accurately monitoring all the parcel shipments to ensure accuracy in the distribution of Nice North America (Nice) products.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9:00 am - 5:30pm) with occasional Saturday work as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintains the flow of the assembly line by effectively and efficiently checking each parcel package to ensure that the correct items are being shipped to the customer
Monitors and documents parcel packages using the correct desktop program
Communicates with the Parcel Lead to resolve any discrepancies
Organizes workspace for optimal safety, teamwork, and efficiency
Performs a 5S walk throughout assigned area before departing
Understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods, and safe working requirements
Implements and maintains department policies and standards
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
0- 6 months previous experience
Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written safety and quality instructions in English
Candidates must be willing to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shift as well as overtime hours on those shifts with little notice
Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self
Ability to use a computer, including Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to either stand or sit for extended periods
Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands

Must be comfortable working in a complex production machining and assembly environment
The working area is primarily in a manufacturing environment located around machines and heavy equipment such as a forklift or pallet operator
Operation of the machine requires working with, and coming into contact with, various materials and substances.
Willingness to wear finger cots, masks, and/or safety vest
Working temperatures may vary from hot, cold, humid, wet or dry
Working hours may be extended and weekends may be required in order to meet manufacturing needs
