Project Architect

BCT Design Group is seeking a registered Project Architect with 5-10 years of experience to join our Housing Studio. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on a variety of projects with a talented team of designers, planners, and architects. Applicants should have experience in the design and documentation of large-scale housing projects, including mixed-use, multi-family, senior housing and affordable housing. This position offers potential for growth and advancement within a steadily growing firm.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading the production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD and CA phases of a project.Demonstrate strong technical leadership and document coordinationResponsible for the quality assurance of the design documentsHave an experienced understanding of building codes, zoning, and planning regulationsSupervise, direct work, and offer mentorship to protect staffWork directly with clients and contractors during all phases of the design and contruction processResponsible for facilitating coordination with the Project Designer and Project Manager to ensure the original design intent of the project is maintained through all phasesQualificationsDegree in ArchitectureRegistered ArchitectProficient in SketchUp and Adobe Suite programsFluent in RevitStrong collaboration skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
