Sr Safety Supervisor- (Data Centers)

As the Sr Safety Manager, you'll provide guidance and leadership in the development, implementation, and administration of safety, health, occupational health, fire protection and prevention, and equipment and property protection. Based in Corpus Christi, TX, you'll have the opportunity to perform assessments of Health & Safety performance of projects, generate reports (including recommendations to project teams in areas requiring improvement), and review and assist with training of operations personnel.You'll lead teams and drive an overall improving trend for key safety metrics, communicate gaps in project Health & Safety programs, investigate personal injury and property damage accidents, and prepare all pertinent forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local regulations. You'll support and lead your team as they issue various entry permits (e.g., to confined spaces) as required and conduct various industrial hygiene samplings, such as gas and noise tests to ensure safe working conditions. You'll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.ResponsibilitiesLead teams and ensure an overall improving trend for key safety metrics.Communicate gaps in project Health & Safety programs.Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents and prepare all pertinent forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local regulations.Issue various entry permits (e.g., to confined spaces) as required.Conduct industrial hygiene sampling (gas and noise tests) to ensure safe working conditions.Mentor and develop team members, guiding them to discover their purpose and grow professionally.QualificationsAt minimum an AS degree in environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, safety, or related field.A minimum of 12-15 years of full-time experience in a Health & Safety position.A minimum of 3-5 years of Health and Safety supervisory experience.Experience with large projects with multiple work areas.Previous experience in a construction and general industry environment.Experience with managing and conducting safety training presentations.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Ability to travel and work at project locations.Possess a valid driver's license with no major infractions.Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills.Knowledge of regulatory compliance, as well as all federal, state, and local agency requirements.Ideally, you'll have – Bachelor's degree in either environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, safety, or related field.Benefits and compensationOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about: your health, well-being, security, and future.
