Other duties may be assigned.Provides guidance, support and supervision of admission nurses, hospital liaisons, Assistant Clinical Manager, Lead Admissions Intake Facilitator, Intake Facilitators, and Admission Financial Counselors to ensure highest levels of patient care, customer satisfaction, productivity and employee moral.Serves as primary clinical resource and role model/mentor regarding patient care and adaptation of orientees to the culture of the clinical teams and agency. Utilizes principles of adult learning and clinical competency tools to ensure consistency of information and clear, measurable performance expectations of clinical employees in their roles.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.Registered Nurse Licensed by the State of FloridaThree (3) years minimum experience as a hospice primary care or admissions related nurse with demonstrated competence in case management and understanding of agency systems preferred.Training in adult learning processes preferred.Must have a Valid Florida drivers License, maintain current auto insurance coverage and have access to a reliable automobile.Current Basic life support (BLS) CPR certification is required.Empath Health values diversity as it strengthens our community and care.
