CORE Therapist S/T

Job Description Salary:Trinity Social Services is seeking a Therapist/Clinician. The candidate must have knowledge of DSM-V criteria, develop SMART Treatment Planning, be highly organized, and proficient with MS Word and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Core/IFI services is required. Candidate must have prior knowledge of GA Medicaid System of Care (mental/behavioral health).Professional Title:LMSW, LAPC, APC, LAMFT, AMFT or (Supervisee/Trainee MSW, MFT, PC, MS, MA)Minimum Qualifications:Person must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT or S/T (Supervisee/Trainee). One (1) year experience providing (in-clinic or out-of-clinic) therapy.Masters degree in psychology, sociology, or mental health counseling.Person must have a minimum of 1-year experience working with clientele suffering from MH/SA issues and their families.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatmentGather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapyPlan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communitiesPlan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling servicesAssess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff membersServe as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situationsDevelop and implement treatment plans based on BHA, clinical experience, and knowledgeConduct initial family assessments and refer clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessaryResponsible for completing discharge summaries and monthly summary reviews when requestedProperly documented crisis intervention, anger management, behavior modification, and safety planningRequirements:CPR training certificateCPI training certificate a plusMust be dependable, have a computer with internet services and the ability to accurately and sufficiently write BIRP notes.Familiar with Carelogic a plus.Must be able to provide services to clients and families during NON-traditional work days and hours.Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization.Readily available to receive supervision from an appropriately licensed/credentialed professional.Must attend in-office treatment team meetings.Must have reliable transportation and pass various background checks to productively provide services in the community.Must have previous work history or education regarding interactions with adolescents.
