Locum Interventional Radiologist Seeking multiple Locum Interventional Radiologists for coverage beginning March 21, 2026, with an initial 3 6 month assignment and the option to extend as needed.Reason for CoverageRadiology group transitioning to an employed modelSchedule & CallMonday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM24-hour call coverage required, including nights and weekends (onsite)High-volume, fast-paced IR servicePractice SettingHospital-based with some remote work componentsTrauma Level I facilityFull complement of support staffPatient PopulationNeonates through geriatrics (pediatric cases are rare)TechnologyEpic, PowerScribe, and PACSCredentialingEstimated timeframe: daysCredentialing and application fees are not reimbursedQualifications & RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology highly preferredActive Connecticut medical license or IMLC at time of submissionDEA registration or eligibilityCurrent BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and modern radiology IT platformsAbility to perform interventional procedures; fluoroscopy capability to be noted at submissionExperience in high-volume, integrated health system environmentsStrong collaboration skills and commitment to quality and patient-centered careNPDB self-query required at time of presentation (pulled within the same month)
