The PositionThe Employee Benefits Account Executive will serve as the primary lead for clients on issues pertaining to strategy and management of their health and welfare benefit plans. This position requires a thorough knowledge of insurance products available through the agency and for maintaining an assigned book of business, as well as being responsible for customer retention and customer satisfaction. Responsible for assembling the resources and working directly with the client and in conjunction with producers on complex and technical issues and to plan marketing and placement initiatives.Skills & CompetenciesMust possess excellent written & oral communication skillsEssential to be able to work both independently and within a team environmentService-oriented and able to advocate on behalf of the clientProficient in Microsoft and the ability to learn new industry specific software, as needed.
