MEP Designer (Commercial, Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education)Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Designer to join our team in Stafford, TX. This role is responsible for developing high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings for a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, hospitals, K-12 schools, and universities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, a solid understanding of industry standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:Create and develop MEP engineering drawings using Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and RevitCollaborate with engineers and project teams to translate concepts into detailed design documentsPrepare accurate schematics, layouts, and construction documentsReview and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure coordination across disciplinesMaintain, develop, and enhance company drafting standardsEnsure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all project drawingsRevise and update drawings based on project changes, feedback, and evolving requirementsOrganize and implement drafting standards to improve workflow efficiency and documentation qualityQualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (Autodesk suite required)Strong knowledge of technical and engineering drawingsExperience reading and reviewing architectural plansHigh attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and qualityExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAssociate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferredPrevious experience in MEP consulting or the construction industry preferred
