Intermediate Test Engineer

Overview We are seeking an Intermediate Test Engineer to join our team on a new opportunity with TMC Technologies. The contract provides subject matter, systems engineering, software development, and test & evaluation expertise to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's (NSWCDD) Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration (V) Department. While there is potential for remote work, all personnel will initially work on-site in the Dahlgren area until performance is effectively established with the customer. Relocation assistance can be provided where applicable. A SECRET (or higher) security clearance is required. Travel may be required for this position and all travel costs are covered by TMC. Responsibilities Perform data collection / data extraction. Perform root cause analysis on command and control systems. Assess the operational and technical impacts of problems identified. Define and track test metrics. Qualifications Secret (or higher) security clearance 3+ years of experience with: Performing data collection / data extraction Performing root cause analysis on command and control systems Assessing the operational and technical impacts of problems identified Defining and tracking test metrics Working knowledge of Interfacing systems such as sensor systems, track management systems, electronic warfare, self defense systems, displays, weapon systems and tactical data links to assess overall system and capability performance Creating, modifying and executing test plans, test procedures, and test scenarios Generation of test observation reports, problem reports, and test reports We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
