Location: Apizza Alimentari, Fayetteville, New YorkJob Type: Full-Time | Reports To: Front of House ManagementPosition Summary: The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages. This role focuses on guest interaction, guiding guests through the beverage menu, and creating a welcoming and engaging bar experience. Bartenders act as ambassadors of the restaurant’s beverage program by introducing guests to cocktails, wine selections, and beverage pairings while ensuring attentive service and guest satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide warm and attentive hospitality to guests seated at the bar and throughout the restaurant. Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to quality standards. Guide guests through the cocktail menu by describing ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles. Provide knowledgeable wine service including recommendations, proper presentation, and pouring. Assist guests in selecting beverages that complement their meal or preferences. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to enter and process beverage and food orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and equipment. Monitor alcohol service and follow responsible beverage service practices. Restock bar inventory, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
