Every day the industry and deugro face the challenges of the logistics industry and our employees use their expertise to ensure large cargo is transported safely, effectively, and efficiently, through innovative and creative logistical solutions.Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Airfreight Coordinator in Greenville, South Carolina.Key Responsibilities:Quoting and carrying out rate negotiationsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleaguesChecking shipping documents (Invoice and Packing List), if all information match with physical cargo, and if in good order for shippingOrganise collections, bookings, AWB cutting, and customs declarations, as well as otherrelated tasksSubmit to overseas agents and request ok for shipping as well as book space with the airlineFollow up cargo arrival at the airport and clearance process;Pre-alert to abroad agent/importer and AWB issuanceFollow up shipping with airline as well as arrival at destination and internal procedures up docs release at the airport or cargo delivery at consignee place, whichever is the caseDaily update to the customer (exporter/importer)Invoicing, manage accounts receivable and accounts payableFollow up billing and final payment process and preparing file for closingSkills, knowledge and expertise:At least one year working experience in relevant / similar fieldRelevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry and good knowledge of Inco Terms and OperationsThese qualities characterize you: analytical, results-driven, assertivenessExcellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)Attention to detailWhat makes us the ideal choice?A family-owned company established in 1924, has evolved into a leading global specialist in project freight forwarding.
