About the jobSales EngineerCompetitive Base Salary + BenefitsNew YorkThe Client:A fast-growing, early-stage cybersecurity vendor building AI-driven technology for modern Security Operations teams.The company’s platform helps SOC teams improve the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of security workflows across existing environments, reducing alert fatigue and streamlining repetitive operational processes across tools such as SIEM, EDR, and related platforms.Founded by a team with deep AI expertise, this is an opportunity to join a highly technical vendor as they expand into the US market.The Role:You will be the first Sales Engineer hire in the US, working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and leadership to support technical discovery, demos, POCs, and product positioning.Key Responsibilities:• Support technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concepts.• Act as a trusted technical advisor to security teams.• Demonstrate AI-driven security operations capabilities.• Understand customer SOC environments, including SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and related tools.• Translate technical challenges into clear product value.• Share customer feedback with Product and Engineering.• Help shape the US Sales Engineering function.Experience Needed:• Experience in a cybersecurity Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Support, Implementation, or customer-facing technical role.• Strong understanding of SOC environments, alert handling, and security workflows.• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, XDR, threat detection, or security automation tools.• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.• Comfortable with demos, discovery, workshops, or customer-facing technical conversations.• Interest in AI, automation, and the future of security operations.• Previous SOC analyst experience would be highly desirable.Apply ASAPConnect with us at Trident Search.
