Sprinkler Service Sales Representative

SPRINKLER SERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVEJOB DESCRIPTIONNASHVILLE, TNJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Identify deficiencies noted in ServiceTrade and/or Inspection Reports generated from Building Reports or AFP approved inspection reports and prepare proposalsCommunicate effectively with Inspection Teams to ensure clear understanding of deficiencies noted and means of correctionCreate deficiency proposals as outlined in standard operating proceduresCreate service repair related proposals as needed as outlined in standard operating proceduresCommunicate deficiency and repair proposals directly with primary service sales account representatives or with customers via ServiceTrade functions, phone, fax and/or emailA continued commitment in pursuit of enhancing existing and new customer experience by assisting with emergency service or deficiency inbound calls, including follow up on leads and deficiency proposals.Meet or exceed sales budget goals set by service sales managerPromote a positive ongoing relationship with both internal and external customers and end usersEstimate hard bid contracts and provide a proposal to the customer on the bid dateConduct job site surveys to ensure the accuracy of the estimatePrepare assigned reports needed for invoicing (Customer set up sheet)Maintain inspection and service sales log for all deficiency bids exceeding Quality Check and Audit threshold amountsDemonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with all internal and external customersAll other duties assigned Expectations:Believe In, Live, and Support Our Mission Statement, Core Values and Business Plan DailySafety FirstStart each meeting with a Safety Topic - internal and externalEnsure Safe Driving of Company Vehicle or Personal VehicleComplete weekly Bid Logs to track monthly Close Ratios and total Bids Won (i.e. 10-15%, 1.5M)Provide estimate and required budget details for all jobs bidProvide detailed Scope Sheets for all jobs bidPursue Bid Tabs for all estimates that are not awardedMaintain a Global Customer View for opportunities to expand leads and relationships across product lines and customer portfolioMaintain an Account Ownership mindset to ensure Customer Satisfaction and Customer RetentionMaintain Customer contacts and appointments on Outlook calendar that is accessible by ManagerEnsure Customer Satisfaction and respond to Customer Satisfaction Survey feedback improvement opportunitiesReview Notices and Liens reports, contact customers as needed, and respond to Accounting team with updatesSubmit Expense Reports timely; ensure expenses are targeted and approved in advanceParticipate as needed with Organizations to promote leads and support customer relationships with primary service sales representatives.Actively Participate in required Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly team meetingsProposals -Use Proposal guidelines and formatting per AFP Scribes for ServiceTradeEnsure proper formatting, details are complete, with a professional appearanceParticipate in ongoing training - SOPs, Codes/Technical, Customer Service, Software, etc.Review Profitability reports for accuracy and estimation improvement opportunitiesSupport and Ensure Adherence with Company SOPs - Job Set Up, Contracts, Change Orders, Accounting Processes, Subcontractors, etc.Teamwork - maintain positive interactions within your team, local office, same department in other offices, Accounting, etc.Actively participate in Lunch N Learns, events, trade shows, etc.Partner with Marketing and Business Development TeamKnow the Allied "Why" - maintain a consistent message Knowledge:Minimum education of High School Diploma or EquivalentGeneral understanding of Microsoft office products Work Experience: Previous experience with customer service in an office settingSprinkler or Alarm Service Sales experience a plusSprinkler or Alarm Inspection experience a plus Skills and Competencies:Strong verbal skills and written communication, and time management skillsAbility to take direction from upper managementAccurately complete and maintain all paperworkDemonstrate positive teamwork and ability to be a team leader and mentorMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRME-I preferred, Strong Technical experience in sprinklerAbility to perform work in an efficient and organized manner and maintain thorough record keeping skillsAbility to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
