Java Developer Software EngineerSWE1Salary Range:$150- 170KLocation: Annapolis Junction, MDSecurity Clearance Required: TS/SCI with MD polygraphJob DescriptionWe are seeking a JavaScript Developer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications. Successful candidates will join a collaborative and innovative environment, and you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable solutions. The role offers exposure to advanced software development practices, including working with JavaScript, modern frameworks, and integration. The position entails working with current frameworks in a professional setting that values continuous technical advancement.Must Have:Possess working knowledge of JavaScript/DOM, Typescript, Node.js/npm,Experience in AWS (ability to navigate AWS dashboards & services)Hands on experience utilizing Docker (command line) and converting applications to Docker imagesExperience utilizing Git (command line), GitLab CI and GitLab pipelinesFamiliar with Jest, and CypressWorking knowledge of JIRA and GitlabExperience developing functional and unit testsExperience performing code reviewsAbility to work directly with customersTroubleshooting skillsAbility to adhere to coding standards and follow team policiesDesired Skills:Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirementsAdhere to development processes the team has establishedAssist in the development of requirements for new features and fix defectsCreate and expand unit testsKnowledge of Microsoft Office JavaScript APITrack and respond to user issues/questionsTriage user issuesTest new software releases and merge requestsExperience working collaboratively with a team of developers, Contractors, and the GovernmentContribute content for the development of high level documentation and guidesStrong, Time Management skillsRequires:Security Clearance: TS/SCI with MD polygraph3 years software engineering experienceBachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
