Your work will span from tracing the lineage of algorithms and identifying copied or derivative code, to presenting structured technical findings that withstand legal scrutiny.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze software systems and present summary findings to clientsAssess the originality, similarity, and differences between multiple software systemsReverse engineer software applications, features, and functionalityEvaluate the complexity and value of software developedInvestigate the behavior of software systems against expected behavior from legal claimsDraft documents describing the functionality and behavior of software systemsPresent technical findings to non-technical clientsDevelop and productize tools to make source code analysis more efficient and scalable What You’ll BringExperience working as a software consultant, source code reviewer, and/or software engineerFluency in a variety of programming languages, databases, and platforms, such as: Java, C++, C, C#, Python, PHP, SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Windows, Linux, Android, iOSDeep understanding of fundamental concepts in computer science, such as: data structures, architecture design, programming paradigms (object-oriented, functional, declarative), algorithms, distributed computing, concurrency, computational complexity, database systems, networking, compilers, and machine learningExceptional written and verbal communication skillsCapacity to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentA desire to be a part of and help grow a great team and organizationThe passion to learn, grow, and help us to improve our businessBachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Master’s is a plus In addition to annual salary, we provide annual 401k contributions and competitive benefits package.
