Responsibilities Department Summary: SG Americas Securities, LLC (SGAS): Broker-Dealer Regulatory Reporting Group This department is responsible for the local regulatory reporting for SGAS (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, CME, FRBNY, etc). Additionally, team works closely with both FCM and Securities side operations, front office, internal audit, external audit and second level control. Day to Day Responsibilities:Preparation of Daily 15c3-3 customer and PAB calculationsReview of Daily 15c3-1 Net Capital ComputationPreparation and Presentation of Monthly Focus Report to Senior ManagementWork closely with Front Office on new business and expansion projectsAutomation of legacy manual processesOther report preparation and analysis such as Leverage, Liquidity, Surveys and Ad Hoc RequestsActively participate in Regulatory and Financial AuditsEnhance control environment and documentation Monthly Responsibilities:Assist in monthly FOCUS report preparation and analysis Profile required Technical Skills:Ability to use data visualization platform to provide strategic data to internal clientsStrong Excel computer skills and ability to work with large sets of data Required Registrations: • Series 27 (or willing to complete within one year) Competencies:Adaptable; able to formulate reporting requirements for new processesAbility to solve problems and analyze independentlyAbility to handle multiple issues and make reporting deadlinesAbility to effectively interact with team and internal clients Experience Needed:5-10 years industry experience Educational Requirements:Accounting or Finance BA/BS degreeMBA or CPA, a plus Why join usBusiness insight Societe Generale is committed to offering an inclusive recruitment experience to all candidates.
