Job Description Salary:SUMMARY:Process daily audit of the hotels financial data, and handle the requests and transactions of the hotel guests, and coordinate with the other departments as necessary.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Verify each Front Desk shifts transactionsProcess credit card transactionsPost tax charges to all guest foliosFinalize transactions completed during the dayCreate and/or print required reportsFile or transmit reports as directedVerify and prepare registration cards for arriving guestsPrepare folios for departing guestsHandle hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages for guests as well as hotel staffTake, modify and cancel guest reservationsVerify, balance and review hotel suite availabilityCheck in/out guests. Perform express checkout duties. Verify departure dates and offer to make future reservationsPost telephone charges, valet charges, and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.Administer guest payment policiesResponsible for shift cash transactions per cash handling proceduresResponsible for maintaining hotel key security systemAdminister guest safe deposit boxesResponsible for knowing hotel emergency proceduresCoordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requestsCommunicate facilities and services to guests at check-inAnswer guest questions regarding local area facilitiesMust wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance policy.Notify Housekeeping and Maintenance of any reported problems with suites and/or groundsSet up and maintain breakfast in accordance with safety standards and to ensure guest satisfactionEmployee must adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.Carry out any reasonable request by management that I am capable of performing.Typical shift hou=rs for this role are 3 PM - 11PM
