Project Engineer

About the Role:TAI is looking for a Project Engineer that will be responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating all capital projects. In this role, you will drive the installation of new equipment, refurbishing of existing systems, and commissioning, working collaboratively across Operations and Maintenance. We work for our clients, and we work for one another.Here's a glimpse into your day to day:Plan, design and facilitate the installation of new equipment.Work collaboratively with the Operations and Maintenance departments. Provide technical support in the acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.Research new industry developments in engineering techniques, machines, equipment, materials, etc. and incorporate the innovations to existing operations.Enforce departmental and plant objectives in areas of Safety, Quality, Sanitation and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.Coordinate building preventative maintenance activities and repairs with plant and area leads.Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards are incorporated into new designs.You'll be a perfect fit if you have:3-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings (proficient in AutoCAD)Capital and plant operations(maintenance) project managementBS Degree in EngineeringExperience in electrical fundamentals, industrial medium voltage, power distribution, NFPE 70ePreferred QualificationsRoot cause investigationHAZOP and process hazard analysisKnowledge of regulatory compliance requirements of OSHA, FDA & EPAContinuous improvementExperience in the food processing, pharmaceutical, and/or chemical processing industryExperience with sifting, cleaning, sterilization, milling, mixing and packaging equipmentCompensation and Benefits:Pay: $105,000 annually (maximum)First Year Bonus (variable)PTO and Paid HolidaysOther Offerings:The opportunity to make a real impact on a variety of industry-leading projects.The ability to balance your work and family activities.Flexible work scheduleWork in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values creativity and innovation.A chance to learn and grow alongside some of the brightest minds in engineering.Professional Development, Tuition Reimbursement, and Association Membership Reimbursements.
