Power & Performance Validation Engineer

Duration: 12+ Months  Must Have Skills3+ years of experience in CPU, SoC, or platform power/performance engineeringStrong understanding of CPU microarchitecture (pipelines, caches, SMT, memory hierarchy)Experience with performance analysis and debuggingProficient in Python scripting and C/C++ programmingUnderstanding of object oriented and modular software design Responsibilities:Analyze CPU performance using hardware counters, profiling tools, and workloadsIdentify and debug performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, cache, and interconnectCollaborate with SMU, BIOS, and firmware teams to tune power states (P states, C states, boost)Debug power and performance issues on pre silicon and post silicon platformsExecute and optimize manual and automated test plansReport system behavior and user experience observations (fan noise, thermals, responsiveness) Software & Tools:Python, C/C++Unit testing and basic test automationFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum developmentExperience with Jira or similar ticketing systems Education / Experience:BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)Prior experience with client PC testing, validation, or debug preferred About US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
