Cashier/Customer Service

Overview Doner Haus SUNNYSIDE is looking for full time and part time team members with cash handling experience. Prior experience using Toast POS is a plus! In this role, you will be the friendly face that helps customers complete their orders, provides exceptional service, and ensure proper communication between the kitchen and front counter at all times. Your energy and positive attitude will be key to building lasting relationships and driving sales in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demonstrations. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation. Maintain FOH service standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays Basic expediting skills ensuring each order is properly filled and packaged before handing to each guest. Making sure all online/pick up orders are organized. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette Support store operations through replenishment of inventory items, stocking supplies, stocking prep items and assisting with product demos or promotions. Qualifications Previous experience with POS systems or cashiering is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
