Head of Finance - New York CityWe’re partnering with a high-growth, investor-backed business who are looking for a commercially focused Head of Finance to lead and scale the finance function during an exciting period of growth.Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with senior leadership, this role will take ownership of core finance operations while also acting as a strategic business partner across commercial performance, forecasting and growth initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping shape the next phase of the company’s journey.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day finance operations including month-end close, reporting and cash flow managementOwn budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processesDeliver meaningful commercial insight and KPI reporting to senior stakeholdersPartner with department leaders to support strategic decision making and improve financial performanceDevelop and enhance financial controls, systems and processes as the business scalesManage audit, tax and compliance processesSupport fundraising, board reporting and investor requests where requiredBuild, mentor and develop a growing finance teamRequirementsCPA qualified preferred8+ years’ progressive finance experience within high-growth, SaaS, technology, media or PE-backed environmentsStrong understanding of financial reporting, controls and commercial financeExperience partnering with leadership teams and influencing decision makingAdvanced Excel and financial systems experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environmentWhat’s on OfferHigh visibility role with direct exposure to leadership and investorsOpportunity to help shape and build a best-in-class finance functionCollaborative, ambitious and high-performing cultureCompetitive compensation, bonus and equity participation
