This is a Contract opportunity.100% RemoteNature of Contract – Contract to HireOverviewSenior positions for ML engineering work on Gen AI, RAG systems, and model deployment in a contract-to-hire arrangement.Required Qualifications & ExperienceAdvanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.Must-Have Technical SkillsProven, hands-on experience with RAG, LLM fine-tuning, and agentic frameworks.Expert knowledge of statistical modeling, with significant project experience using tree models (e.g., XGBoost, Random Forest) and other ML techniques.Production-level experience with AWS SageMaker.Exceptional Python programming skills for data manipulation and model development.Strong ability to perform data transformation, ETL and work with historical data for model training.Industry Experience (2-3 projects minimum)1st Preference: Insurance, Retirement/Pension, or Financial Services.2nd Preference: Publishing or EdTech.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy robust machine learning models and Gen AI applications (e.g., advanced RAG systems, LLM fine-tuning).Lead end-to-end ML projects, from data ingestion and transformation through to model training, evaluation, and MLOps integration.Conduct whiteboard and hands-on coding sessions to architect and problem-solve complex data and model challenges.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.Next stepsLooking forward to hear from you!About Iris SoftwareIris Software200 Metroplex Drive, Suite #300Edison, NJ 08817Mail: bharat.sharma@irissoftware.com | www.irissoftware.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
