The environment is detail-oriented, patient-centered, and designed to promote professional growth for pharmacy and customer service professionals.Role Description: The Pharmacy Liaison is a full-time, on-site role located in Hamilton, OH, responsible for coordinating communication between the pharmacy, prescribers, and patients. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and verifying prescriptions, collaborating with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate dispensing, and supporting compounding workflows by gathering necessary information and documentation. The role involves providing responsive customer service and helping resolve issues related to insurance, prior authorizations, and prescription status. The Pharmacy Liaison maintains accurate records, adheres to all regulatory and safety protocols, and works closely with the pharmacy team to improve processes and the patient experience.QualificationsKnowledge of pharmacy operations and prescription processing, including basic understanding of medication workflows and regulatory requirements.Experience working with or supporting pharmacy techniciansStrong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional phone and in-person etiquette.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prescriptions, tasks, and patient requests efficiently.Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, prescribers, and office staff in a fast-paced environment.Comfort with using pharmacy software, electronic health records, and standard office applications for documentation and communication.High school diploma or equivalent required; formal pharmacy training, certification (e.g., CPhT), or prior pharmacy experience preferred.Commitment to patient privacy, confidentiality, and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
