Program Support / Test Proctor MBTA Operations TrainingQuincy, MA (Onsite Required) 4-Month Contract Up to 37.5 Hours/Week | Rotating Shifts (Day & Occasional Overnight)Sigma, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Program Support / Test Proctor to support the MBTA Operations Training Department, under the Director of Administration and Business Processes.This role is primarily based at the North Quincy Computer Lab, with rare travel to other MBTA training locations in the Greater Boston area.Primary Work LocationNorth Quincy Computer Lab 200 Newport Ave, Quincy, MA 02171Additional Locations (Rare Travel May Be Required)South Station Training School Boston, MAHeavy Rail Training School South Boston, MABus Training School Charlestown, MALight Rail Training School Auburndale, MASchedule OverviewTesting sites require ~48 hours of weekly coverage, with individual contractors scheduled up to 37.5 hours/week.Shift Coverage Includes:7:00 AM 3:00 PM (Mon, Wed, Fri)6:00 AM 2:00 PM (Tue, Wed)7:00 PM 3:00 AM (once weekly, rotating Tue/Thu)Overnight shifts are rotational and not guaranteed weekly. Split or partial shifts may be used to avoid unsafe rest gaps.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Proctor & Site Point of ContactGreet and check in MBTA employees for scheduled testing sessionsVerify employee identity and eligibilityAssign tests through the Learning Management System (LMS)Provide instructions on test rules and proceduresMonitor testing sessions to ensure policy complianceEnforce rules to prevent cheating or unauthorized materialsMaintain a quiet, orderly, distraction-free testing environmentTroubleshoot minor login or test access issuesReport irregularities or misconduct to supervisorsAdministrative & Data SupportPerform high-volume data entry, including:Transferring data from paper documents to digital spreadsheetsUpdating databases and tracking logsStrong Excel-based data entry and reportingAssist with special projects requiring large data setsOrganize, archive, and retrieve electronic recordsOperate office equipment (scanners, printers)Process requests for files and data across departmentsEvaluate workflows and assist with process improvementsProvide ad-hoc administrative support as neededRequired QualificationsStrong organizational and administrative skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteComfortable working in a paperless, digital environmentAbility to work independently and proactivelyStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow policies, procedures, and confidentiality rulesWillingness to work rotating schedules, including occasional overnight shiftsCompliance & Workplace StandardsMust adhere to all MBTA policies, including:EEOAnti-discriminationAnti-harassmentAnti-retaliation policiesAbility to work professionally in a unionized/public-sector environment
