Total Rewards Coordinator II
OverviewThe Total Rewards Coordinator will provide assistance to team members, health care providers, and insurance carriers regarding the Sprouts Farmers Market benefits plans including leave administration. This position will provide administrative support in the benefits, leave of absence, unemployment and compensation space.Overview Of ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.Respond to questions, concerns, and inquiries from a variety of parties including team members, dependents, providers, insurance carriers, vendors, regarding the Sprouts Farmers Market benefits plans including leave administration for FMLA, CFRA, and Personal Leave and Compensation.Administration and coordination of various Sprouts Farmers Market benefits including health insurance, dental, life, vision, and other benefits; including enrollment, terminations, additions, and changesProvide information and instruction regarding total rewards including benefit coverage, leave and compensation, applicable procedures and methods to employees, dependents, and COBRA continuants.Interpret and explain rules and regulations, answer questions, and resolve problems or complaints.Maintain health insurance benefits and serve as liaison between internal customers, insurance companies and physicians.Research specific benefits questions by reviewing benefit contracts or calling insurance carriers.Ensure compliance with and provide guidance and assistance to employees with Family Medical Leave, extended leave and ADA, and Long-Term Disability issues.Send applicable letters to employees detailing the status of their leave.Respond to State disability forms.Partner with LOA Specialist on various leave inquiries.Maintain tracking records for LOA correspondence.Leads day-to-day unemployment claim process, collecting documentation, and acting as initial degree of contact for inquiries and issues related to unemployment.Coordinates with third party administrators for unemployment, serves as the liaison for Sprouts.Participate with other Human Resources staff in answering general questions relating to HR policies, procedures, and operations.Conduct audits or special research of programs as directed.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent; some college education preferredMinimum 3 years’ experience in benefits and leave administrationExperience with using HRIS (Workday preferred)Working knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principals of Human Resources and employee benefits and leave administrationWorking knowledge of comprehensive employee benefit programs including flexible benefits, federal compliance with COBRA and its ramifications, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADAAbility to understand, interpret, and communicate policy and procedures associated with employee benefitsMust treat confidential matters in a proper and professional mannerProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and ability to work on cross-functional teamsBenefitsIn addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
