API Developer & Application Analyst (Remote) Location: Charleston, SCDuration: 12+ MonthsThe focus of this position is on building secure data structures, data validation, analyzing large datasets, and web development to support data visualization. This programmer has a good understanding of technical architecture components, web-based solutions, web services, and experience using multiple programming languages and different technology stacks. Understanding of healthcare data is desired but not required. Serve as an interface and API Developer and Application Analyst for the enterprise-wide Epic Research Team at the Client. This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance and coordination of integration of third part systems with the Client Epic EHR system. This position will also require building, testing and continue development of functionality within the Client Electronic Health Record (EHR) to support Research.Job Duties:Develop, build and configure complex Epic research interface functionalities, University application interface functionalities, and RedCap interface functionalities using advanced coding of HL7 and FHIR techniques. Using these healthcare standards to safely transmit data from all outside application into Epic securely.Duties include building and maintaining the interfaces and maintaining them successfully.Working with Epic IS security to develop safety techniques and QA measures while maintaining and securing clinical pathway from data coming into/from the Epic EHR.Responsible for implementation of advanced clinical build within the Epic system in regard to Epic Research workflows for the overall research community. Plans, tests, and implements these efforts for clinical build in the system for an increased customer scope of physicians, university faculty, medical student, and all other hospital clinical staff.Works with Oncore and Sparc development teams to integrate FHIR standards to support clinical trials management inside of Epic.Acts as a mentor and help to facilitate the professional growth of individuals supervised.Required Skills:Epic Bridges CertificationCloverleaf experience7+ year of Epic technical build experiencePreferred Skill:
