The Team Lead supervises Crew Managers, coordinates in-base activities, ensures consistency in policy interpretation, and collaborates with CPMs, base leadership, and local APFA to resolve escalated events.What You'll DoAs noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Manage the day-to-day work of Crew Managers, Inflight Performance at assigned bases Ensures thorough understanding and compliance with Inflight policies, procedures, and regulations Provides leadership development of Crew Managers, Inflight Performance for greater responsibility and promotion opportunitiesCollaborates with Labor, Legal & Team Member Relations to address flight attendant performance issuesRegularly meets with Regional Directors and local base leadership to understand performance trends at and provide guidance interpreting the performance policyWorks with the Inflight Reporting & Analytics team for data reporting and analysis and coordinates with senior leadership on performance strategiesDevelops and manages special projects driving them to completionParticipates in task forces, problem solve and plans the future direction of the Performance teamPerforms other projects as assignedAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience4+ years related experience in the customer service industryAbility to work shift work, including weekends and holidays Must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceLeadership management experienceCurrent or Previous Inflight Crew ManagerFlight Attendant experienceKnowledge and experience with American-specific systems including SABRE/DECS-FOS, Absence Tracker, Attendance & Performance/Flight Caps, TableauExperience working with represented labor groupSkills, Licenses & CertificationsKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skillsAbility to work and make decisions independentlyExcellent presentation skillsKnowledge of JCBAWhat You'll GetFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
