If you're ready to be challenged, inspired, and supported as you pursue your professional best, we hope you'll explore a future with Triumph.Quality Inspector Responsibilities:Assures product quality and manufacturing accuracy by properly using inspection equipmentMaintains product quality documentation by keeping accurate records and files; such as Material Certifications, First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102), Inspection Method Sheets (IMS), First Piece InspectionRead and interpret aerospace blueprints and geometrical tolerancingHas knowledge in the use of all types of standard inspection measurement equipment, such as micrometers, dial bore gauges, internal and external thread gauges, use of sine plates and indicatorsInspection process can involve use of various chemicals and solventsSolves problems by working closely with suppliersContributes to team effort by maintaining a positive attitudeTrain other inspectors (or operators) as required in inspection methodsComplies with all company policies and proceduresFosters positive relationships with internal and external customersEnsures adherence to applicable Triumph Group internal, federal, state and local laws and regulations related to compliance and takes responsibility to ensure ongoing conformity with such rules and regulationsQualifications:High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology preferred.A minimum of 5-7 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in process inspection) working in a manufacturing environmentMust have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring toolsProblem identification and resolution skillsExperience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledgeable of AS9102 First Article Inspection Report requirements preferredAbility to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focusAbility to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customersHourly rate: $28.33 - $38.00
