Electrical Estimator/Construction Project Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate take-offs, along with procurement of submittals, materials and supplies for active projects. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial/industrial estimating, and project management. The candidate will work closely with lead estimator, project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all estimates align with project specifications and budgets.
Duties
Prepare detailed take-offs with cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
Analyze construction plans and project specifications to determine the scope of work and required resources.
Utilize software tools such as AccuBid for accurate estimating and documentation.
Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines for projects.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
Conduct site visits, if necessary, to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimates.
Provide support during the bidding process and during active projects.
Experience
Proven experience within the electrical construction industry and/or civil sector preferred.
Trimble AccuBid Classic and LiveCount experience required.
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Familiarity with cost control practices and project management principles.
Negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with the suppliers.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
