This is achieved by involving the Psychology Intern in caring for patients under the supervision of the attending physicians. As a resident's experience and competency increases, supervision will be appropriately modified.Position Duties Carry an inpatient caseload (consultation and follow-up therapy). Ongoing coordination with medical teams. Discharge planning. Carry an outpatient therapy caseload (follow-up care for patients discharged from the hospital). Individual therapy (1-4 times per month). Ongoing coordination with medical & behavioral health teams in and outside of the hospital as necessary. Participate in 2 hours of individual supervision per week. Attend monthly Post-doc didactic training. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
