That's it. No board seats. No fund operations. Just sourcing and warm introductions.You're not an employee. You're a partner in our deal flow - someone we trust to have good taste in founders and the network to find them early.What You'll DoSource deals that fit Treeo VC's thesis: AI-native, B2B-oriented startups at the pre-seed or seed stage, led by immigrant founders or diverse teams with global ambitionMake warm introductions between founders and the Treeo VC team - not cold forwards, but founders you've actually spoken with and believe inProvide initial context on why a founder or company is worth our attention: what's the problem, why this team, what's compellingStay plugged in to your community - whether that's a university campus, a city's startup scene, an industry vertical, or an online community of buildersShare market intelligence - trends you're seeing, sectors heating up, interesting people doing interesting thingsWhat You Won't DoYou won't make investment decisions - that's on the Treeo VC teamYou won't conduct deep due diligence - a short write-up or voice note on why you're excited is enoughYou won't manage portfolio companiesYou won't be expected to work a set number of hours per weekWho We're Looking ForWe're open to scouts based in San Francisco, New York, Austin, Boston, and other major cities with strong start-up activities :Current or former startup founders, product managers, engineers, or operatorsUniversity entrepreneurship club leaders, hackathon organizers, student body leadersEmbedded in the tech and startup ecosystem - you naturally meet early-stage foundersYou understand what makes a good founding team because you've been part of one (or worked closely with one)Deeply connected to student founders, campus builders, and new grad entrepreneursYou have genuine curiosity about AI, deep tech and start up dynamicsBonus: connection to immigrant founder communities and international student networks (aligned with Treeo VC's thesis)CompensationCompensation is deal-based - you earn when Treeo VC invests in a company you sourced.
