Maintenance Manager - 2nd Shift
We are a largely privately-owned company in the consumer products industry. We have our products at stores nationwide and are growing! As a Maintenance Manager, you will be supervising the Maintenance Engineering team and will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance technians are conducting the daily operations of maintenance repair, completing repairs as they arrive, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance. You will be responsible for training, onboarding, ensuring corporate and safety compliance. We are looking to add several Maintenance Managers to our team, who will work out of our Montgomery, IL OR South Holland, IL manufacturing plant. This will be a 2nd shift schedule (3pm-12pm) with some scheduled Saturdays. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the preventative and reoccurring maintenance process on various manufacturing or production machineryEnsure safety and company compliance while maintenance staff is performing repairs and assess their quality of workManage the team of Maintenance technican staff to ensure they are completing work orders in a timely mannerEnsure the team is installing, teardown, seting up, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenanceEnsure the maintenance throughout the manufacturing plant including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, conveyors, production machinery equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and moreAdhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Ensure production line operations are in compliance with all state and federal regulationsQualificationsExperience with mechanical, electrical repairs, various equipment repairs in a manufacturing plant or industrial facility5+ years of manufacturing or production machine maintenance experienceExperience managing or supervising a team of Maintenance TechniciansExperience with maintenance repair, preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, health & safety complianceExperience with electrical, high(480V)/low voltageExperience with troubleshooting with machine teardowns, rebuilds, and performing preventative maintenanceBasic knowledge of PLC's troubleshooting, fundamentals, and preventative maintenanceExperience with instrumentation and calibration of manufacturing equipmentExperience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, compressors, and other various systems in a manufacturing plantExperience with various manufacturing production machinery (conveyors, packaging equipment, etc)BenefitsGreat Company Culture + Collaborative Work EnvironmentCompetitive base salary + Annual Bonus % + OT Hourly differentialPTO, Sicktime, Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision Plans401k MatchLife & Disability InsuranceCareer growth opportunities & more!
