Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Searching for a PTCB certified pharmacy technician with experience in compounding and/or IV mixtures. Candidate must be available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, daily schedule may vary within these time frames. Applicant must be a team player and self motivated. Experience required. Summary As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be a vital member of the healthcare team, utilizing your core skills in LTC pharmacy, critical care experience, and patient service to deliver high-quality care to patients. Your expertise in IV infusion, medical terminology, and aseptic technique will be essential in compounding medications and ensuring accurate dosages. With your premium skills yet to be defined, and relevant skills in acute care and intake, your PTCB Certification and Pharmacy Technician Certification will be instrumental in supporting the pharmacy's operations. Responsibilities - Compound medications according to prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and precision. - Utilize aseptic technique to maintain sterile compounding environments. - Assist in inventory management and ordering of compounding supplies. - Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. - Provide exceptional patient service and support in a healthcare setting. - Maintain PTCB and Pharmacy Technician certifications to uphold professional standards.
