M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.Our strong remanufacturing roots combined with our 41 branch locations, a nationwide outside sales team of 25 and our close OEM & Manufacturer partnerships make us unique in the industry – no one understands diesel engine failure analysis and parts better than M&D. WE FUEL UPTIME.The primary responsibilities of this role are related to Core Handling. Additionally, the person selected for this position will have warehouse responsibilities assigned, as described below.Review credited core reportConfirm correct part numbers for each coreConfirm core is tagged correctlyPlace cores in assigned binPull, box, and ship cores to the appropriate M&D locationLoading and unloading transport trucks using forklift, hydraulic lift, and dollyStock receiving - Verifying parts/part numbers and proper count receivedInventory stocking – placing parts in the proper warehouse locationOrder pulling product from warehouse for production, sales staff, and customersKeeping the warehouse and parts department clean and orderlyRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.1 year experience in automotive or diesel part or similarAbility to perform math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)Ability to exercise judgement and to work independentlyMust demonstrate consistency, accuracy, and follow-throughKnowledge of cores related to diesel engine parts preferredWillingness to be trained and certified to utilize forklift equipmentComputer literacy with the ability to learn new software programsAbility to move, lift, and carry objects up to 50lbsAbility to continuously repeat motionsM&D provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, familial status, disability, military status, and genetic information.This job posting does not state or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
