Paraprofessional – 2026–2027 School Year (K–12)Available Grade LevelsElementary (K–4) — 7 SchoolsIntermediate / Middle (5–8) — 3 SchoolsHigh School (9–12) — 2 SchoolsPosition OverviewThis Paraprofessional supports students who may need assistance with communication, behavior regulation, sensory needs, social skills, and structured academic instruction. Students may use AAC devices, PECS, visual schedules, prompting hierarchies, and individualized behavior plans. You will work closely with the teacher and autism support team to maintain a consistent, supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities (Autistic Support Focus)Instructional & Academic SupportImplement discrete trial training, task analysis, and other autism‑specific strategiesAssist with visual supports (first–then boards, token systems, picture schedules)Support academic centers, social skills groups, and structured teaching tasksCommunication SupportModel and prompt AAC, PECS, sign, and visual communicationReinforce expressive/receptive language goalsCollaborate with speech‑language pathologistsBehavioral & Sensory SupportFollow behavior intervention plans consistentlyUse sensory tools, movement breaks, and calming strategiesSupport students during dysregulation using approved crisis‑intervention protocolsTransition & Routine SupportGuide students through daily routines with clear promptsSupport transitions to specials, lunch, recess, and activitiesAssist with functional independence goalsGeneral Responsibilities (All Paraprofessional Roles)Participate in collaboration with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and administratorsMaintain accurate behavioral and academic dataUphold professionalism, confidentiality, and policy expectationsSupport classroom management and structured routinesAttend IEP meetings when requestedPerform additional duties as needed to support safe and effective operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma (required)Experience with elementary students (preferred)Experience with autism or behavioral needs (strongly preferred)Strong communication, reliability, and rapport‑building skillsAbility to follow teacher direction and use computer systemsReliable transportation — car requiredRequired Clearances (Before Start Date)Act 114 FBI FingerprintingAct 151 PA Child Abuse ClearanceAct 34 PA Criminal History ReportAct 24 Arrest/Conviction ReportAct 126 Mandated Reporter TrainingCurrent TB Test (within required timeframe)Apply today to support students as a Paraprofessional and make a meaningful impact in a structured, supportive learning environment.#educationBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
