Cake Decorator
The Position:
Snaks 5th Avenchew is a Dog Bakery & Boutique and looking for a team member that loves dogs just as much as we do, while performing routine cookie decorating tasks and designs for daily cookie & cake orders. This includes but is not limited to: making daily icing batches, decorating cookies using our precise designs, exercising decorating techniques, collaborating on new designs and more
Requirements:
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, able to follow instructions
Experience in a Cake or Cookie decorating
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Receiving, restocking, organizing and cleaning
Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to stand on their feet 8-10 hours a day
Able to lift 30-pound boxes or 50 pounds with another team member
Responsibilities:
Ensure that designs are prepared according to pre-planned designs
Efficient and able to decorated in timely manner according to production standards
Follow the preparation checklist for daily assignments
Check ingredients against recipe guidelines before preparing ingredients for icing.
Store food in appropriate areas and keep food supplies clean, organized, and stocked.
Clean bakery, work station and equipment properly following all cleaning procedures.
