Technical Program Manager
Position: Technical Program Manager (TPM) Location:Mountain ViewSeattleBoulderPhoenixAbout the RoleTeam is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong Android and XR/mobile ecosystem experience to support partner engineering engagements and technical operations. This role will serve as the primary interface between external partners and internal engineering teams, ensuring timely troubleshooting, issue resolution, and workflow optimization across XR/mobile initiatives.The ideal candidate should have experience in Android application support, SDK troubleshooting, partner communication, and cross-functional program coordination.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary technical point of contact for external partners.Lead recurring partner sync meetings and manage communication through collaboration documentation.Perform Level 1 troubleshooting for SDK-related issues on prototype hardware.Monitor and manage incoming technical issues through tickets, email, and messaging channels.Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) to identify platform-level bugs versus partner implementation issues.Collaborate with internal Developer Relations Engineering (DRE) teams to escalate and resolve complex issues with detailed reproduction steps.Identify workflow improvements and recommend technical optimizations for XR/mobile application flows.Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely issue resolution and partner success.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android application lifecycle management.Experience supporting Android/XR/mobile applications and SDK integrations.Familiarity with issue-tracking and bug-management tools such as Jira or Buganizer.Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in partner-facing environments.Proven ability to manage external partner expectations and executive reporting.Previous experience in Technical Support, QA, Developer Relations, or Technical Program Management within mobile or XR ecosystems.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with XR/AR/VR platforms or applications.Exposure to prototype hardware support and testing environments.Knowledge of mobile development workflows and SDK debugging processes.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
