Event Staff

Entwined Events is seeking driven and outgoing individuals to join their in-house Event Staff as we begin our seasonal operating of multiple event venues! The beautiful and elegant Bedford Columns is in historic Bedford, Va. Bella Rose is a special event venue located in the heart of Lynchburg and is a perfect combination of history and rustic beauty for both public and private events. West Manor Estate is Central Virginia’s premier wedding and event location with a stunningly elegant space. Our team of in-house staff services all types of events to ensure that every guest enjoys a spectacular experience, and every detail is tended too. Qualifications: 1. Experience in food service, event planning, event service, or customer service is preferred. 2. Must have reliable transportation. 3. Friendly, outgoing, patient, and considerate. 4. High attention to detail. 5. Self-motivated. 6. Highly professional in appearance. 7. Punctual. 8. Must be at least 16 years old. 9. Must abide by dress code for staff. 10. Availability necessary on weekends, late nights, and some weekdays. Job Duties: 1. Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator and Wedding Planners to service guests and successfully execute event related duties. 2. Interact with guests and provide food and beverage service. 3. Help with setting up for events as well as closing afterwards. 4. May be called upon to help with additional projects and event preparation. 5. Potential for functioning as a bartender if certain qualifications are met. Wages, hours, and attire: 1. Wages determined based on experience, but typically start around $12.00 an hour. Increase in pay may be possible based on experience and performance. 2. Tips are paid in addition to wages for certain events. 3. Hours vary from event to event. This is a part-time, seasonal position on an on-call basis only. Staff will arrive at least two hours before an event and are required to stay after each event to close & clean. 4. Wait staff jackets or polos will be provided during an event. Please wear a white or black shirt to go under the provided top. Black pants and shoes (slip resistant preferred) are also required. Hair should be neat and out of the face, stud earrings are allowed, minimal appropriate jewelry, and no strong fragrances.
