Scheduler

Akkodis is seeking a Scheduler for a Direct Hire with a client in Phoenix/Mesa, AZ/ New Albany, OH/ Austin, TX/ Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will coordinate with contractors to track progress and prepare delay analyses to keep projects aligned with planned timelines.Salary Range: $70k/Yearly to $90k/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Scheduler job responsibilities include:* Develop, manage, and update construction schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to support both live projects and pre‐construction planning.* Work closely with contractors and project teams to verify actual progress, review construction methodologies, and evaluate upcoming work requirements.* Prepare delay analysis reports, identify schedule risks, and propose recovery strategies or mitigation measures to maintain timeline integrity.* Coordinate with designers, engineers, and key suppliers to review progress, resolve technical issues early, and ensure buildability and safety considerations are reflected in the schedule.* Produce detailed schedule outputs-such as reports, extracts, phased schedules, and short‐term look‐ahead plans-to support project decision‐making.* Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to confirm lead times, delivery schedules, and planned work sequencing, ensuring alignment across all project teams.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.* Experience managing schedules for large‐scale construction projects using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.* Strong understanding of construction processes, buildability, engineering principles, and temporary works planning.* Ability to identify, track, and document schedule changes, delays, and commercial impacts while ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
